The horizontal spiral decanter centrifuge is a solid-liquid separator used in the field of drilling mud solids control system. Its working principle is to feed the drilling fluid into the drum through the feed pipe and the spiral discharge port. Under the action of the centrifugal force generated by the high-speed rotation of the main engine, the solid particles with larger specific gravity are deposited on the inner wall of the drum, and are opposed to the drum. The moving spiral blade continuously scrapes the solid particles deposited on the inner wall of the drum and pushes them out of the discharge port, and the separated clear liquid flows out of the drum machine through the opening of the weir plate, so as to realize solid-liquid separation, also called two-phase separator.

The horizontal spiral decanter centrifuge is composed of a screw propeller, a differential, a motor, an electric control, a bracket, and a shell. The relative movement between the screw and the drum is realized by the differential. The shell of the differential is connected with the drum, the output shaft is connected with the screw, and the input shaft is connected with the auxiliary motor. The main motor drives the rotation of the drum while also driving the rotation of the differential housing. Because the input shaft is connected to the auxiliary motor, the auxiliary motor generates braking torque, which drives the planetary gears to operate according to the designed transmission relationship and according to a certain degree The proportional relationship transfers the torque to the screw, realizing the continuous separation of materials by the horizontal spiral decanter centrifuge.
